Welcome...

This is a new Adobe User Group focusing on motion graphics, animation, visual effects and After Effects. We will be looking for a time, date, and venue to hold our first meeting.

Ultimately my goal is to have a platform which fellow Chicago based After Effects users can SHARE, SHOWCASE and NETWORK. While working as a Motion Artist I have built a small network of users and would love to expand that throughout the Chicago area. Thus providing a community for all levels of users, from students to professionals or just AE enthusiasts. At first we will hold all group meetings in a online forum and as our community grows we can discuss possible physical meetings throughout the city. I would like to recruit members of other online networks and communities such as Linkedin and Vimeo; most of whom already belong to such groups. This will be a great chance to be apart of the Adobe community, from which the software is developed, and connect with people in the city they work and live in.
