Fixing the jQuery Mobile CSS file in DW CS5.5
Entry posted on May 01

While having had a chance to play with Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 and the new mobile tools in particular, I noticed that the CSS file for the jQuery Mobile skins is quite the mess when viewed within Dreamweaver. All of the CSS code is just one giant block of unformatted text. Almost impossible to actual find and edit a CSS attribute. Yet somehow while I was playing around building some test apps and mobile web sites I was able to do it. It did take much patience (and some beverages of choice to remain calm) though.
Had I known about this simple little tip at the time, I could have saved myself hours of frustration. And actually the solution is so simple that it was almost beyond obvious.
Will you upgrade to CS5
