About this Group:

We meet at the Dana Center at maine Medical Center ( 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102 ) in Classroom 4 on Friday nights at 6:30ish PM. From Congress street in Portland, Maine turn onto Bramhall street. At the 4 way stop go straight passing a bus stop on the right then immediately after look for the little gated parking lot on the right - turn in there and park. Go through the glass doors and we are typically in classroom 4. look for the 'beacon' projected on the screen. The sessions are all free - come early and eat in the cafe. You can bring your laptops and food into the classroom.

Continuing on Monday's theme I will review some techniques to get very similar results using tools that are
available right in Photoshop without having to buy the plug-ins.

While we are in recess the FNPS group is in search of a new venue just for this Fall / Winter as our classroom is going to be occupied until December.  Anyone knowing of a place where we can meet on fridays that would accommodate us please get in touch with me directly at mleonard@maine.rr.com.

LAB mode and 16 Bit processing in CS5 wil be the topic this Friday.  Want to make your sunset shots really look very clean?  Have you wanted to sharpen an image but not affect the color?  Or maybe you are working on an image that you wish to get the very best quality?  FNPS this friday will be the place to be as Mike demonstrated the advantages of working in these modes.

It's all Free - just show up! 6:30ish PM at trhe dana Center at MMC in Portland, Maine.

From Congress street in Portland, maine turn onto Bramhall and go till the stop sign.  Then go straight toward the Western Prom passing the bus stop on the right then look immediately for the little gated parking lot on the right - pull in there and park.   We are usually in classroom 4.   Come early for sinner in the cafe.
