The April meeting was a smashing success. Many thanks to the wonderful folks at Brothers Drake for having us. (They also do Drink & Draw in partnership with Rivet Gallery and a once-monthly creative mixer on the first Monday of the month - called Motive.)

So - what's coming up?

Tuesday, May 14th - Behance Portfolio Review!
We'll be partnering with Behance to make your portfolio or demo reel even better than it already is. We're inviting local creative (rockstar) professionals to sit down and chat with you about your work. We're estimating 1 pro to 10 people. You'll share your portfolio in a small group (It can be projected, on a display or in print - depending on what kind of portfolio it is. The rule is - come prepared as you would for a job interview.)

We'll also have a recap on Adobe MAX, some more books from O'Reilly to give away and other swag.

In September, we're going to do tech-talks again (PK style - 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide) so think about what you do that's design-related that you'd like to talk about. There will be prizes-- Awesome prizes.

You have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to tell us how to do something fantastic.

At the September meeting, we're asking for YOU to tell us about a project you've recently completed, or something that you do that's notable in any Adobe application or combination of applications. 20 slides x 20 seconds per slide.

For your efforts, you will be rewarded....

Funniest presentation
Best "how-to" talk
Most interesting project

You'll get a certificate for winning one of the above and bragging rights, of course, A copy of "Slide-ology: The Art and Science of Creating Great Presentations" or "Resonate: Present Visual Stories that Transform Audiences", and a gift certificate based on the award that you win.
