S00ooo..., on 12.12.2009 we had a very nice meeting from 18:00 to 4:00 (10 hours).

We learned how to use XMLs in AS3 / Flex, how to transmit and receive a variable to/from PHP, how to add CSS to different flex-objects, create a foto-galery, watched 2 movies, had a pizza and some Pepsi (The Pepsi was sponsored by ASII, 10x). Sory I didn't make any picutres.

I want from you some feedbacks... what was good, what was bad, should we do it again ? (please add as comments to this post) - and you can rate the event it using the star of the post.

The Photo tool

With the Photo Tool we have created in our last group meeting (05.12.2009) you can take a picture of yourself using the web cam and create a caricature by pressing the the "Rand" button. Using the Save button you can pinpoint a location on your Hard Disk Drive and a jpeg file with the picture you've created will be saved there.

The source code for this Flash Application (from where you can learn how to save locally an object directly by using File Reference and Flash Player 10, or how you can "randomize" an image using a perlined-noise bitmapData and a displacement map filter) can be downloaded from here.
