A bit late in posting this, so it's likely that you've heard... but if not...
On Friday November 20th, right in San Fran at the Adobe office on Townsend (2 weeks after CF Dev Camp), Adobe is offering a FREE full day of Flex training to ColdFusion developers!
------------------------------------------------------
Please join us in a full-day, hands-on training session, where you will learn how to build your first Flex application using the latest Flash Builder 4 beta software. This training is designed to help experienced ColdFusion developers get started in understanding how to add rich UI to existing and new ColdFusion applications. You will need to bring your laptop to the session as you will be using Flash Builder 4 together with ColdFusion 9 to create your first Flex application. New ColdFusion 9 features will also be reviewed in the session.
If you are an experienced ColdFusion developer and you've looked at Flex before and had trouble getting started, we think you will find that the new Flash Builder 4 will make Flex more approachable. Don't miss out on this rare, free full-day classroom training opportunity!

I can't imagine that this isn't going to fill up early, so if you're interested, I urge you to register now :)
Our November meeting (previously scheduled for November 3rd) is postponed.
We are looking into a new location (Robert Half in Oakland), as well as discussing continuing to hold our meetings at our existing location (New Horizons in Pleasanton).
Unfortunately, we won't be able to finalize details with either location by this Tuesday.
I hope to know something this week, and to have the November meeting scheduled for some time next week (the week of November 9th). I will provide as much notice as possible.
We made a big change to the Adobe Groups homepage today. Now, when you log in, you'll see a list of all groups that you have joined right there on the page.
No more bookmarking groups or having to go to your profile page to see the full list!
