    Hi Folks,

I've started migrating our group site over to Meetup because I think it will help grow the community and make it easier for everyone to participate.  Please make use of the message board and mailing list and feel free to give me any suggestions about how to make it a better experience for everyone. And tell a friend!

    Thanks!

    Tom

  • Can you give a 15 to 20 minute presentation at one of our...3

    Hi All,

Our new format where we have a handful of speakers from the community give 20 minute presentations was a great success.  If you missed the last one, you won't want to miss the next one!

For the February 10th meeting, one speaker will be talking about PaperVision 3D and we may have another talking about test driven development in Flex (TDD).  So, we'll need to line up a third speaker.  Do you have a topic you'd like to talk to us about?

The 20-minute format gives you enough time to introduce people to a topic, get them excited about it, and show them where they can find more information.  You could also give demos of some of the things you've worked on.  It's informal and you don't have to be able to present like Steve Jobs to have a successful talk.  All four speakers at the last event were great.

Please contact me at tom[at]searchcoders[dot]com if you can speak at one of our upcoming meetings.

BTW, the meeting in March will be delayed by one week due to the 360|Flex conference which I'll be posting more information about soon.

Thanks and hope to see you in February!

    -Tom
