At yesterday's meeting we talked about using Catalyst to take a Photoshop document and create a Flash application. We then showed how to open it in Flash Builder and continue to work on the application as a developer. I skimmed over a good deal of the fun stuff you can do with Catalyst so I'm posting the walkthrough from Adobe here to make it easier to find.

We talked about this in our meeting this month and I thought I would also post it up here for anyone that missed or might be interested. For those of you that do any work with remote objects or even web services inside of your RIAs there's a nice little tool you can pick up from The Midnight Coders. It's called App Puncher and it allows you to inspect all messages coming in and out of your machine over the network. What's really nice about it is that it lets you view the actual objects that are sent and returned from remote objects! It's very nice for authenticating the data going to your Remote Objects and especially nice for seeing what is getting returned.
You can download an evaluation copy for free and the full price for the current version is only $20. They are coming out with more functionally rich versions later that I'm sure will cost more but they will let you actually save and play back the sessions you watch. That would be great for load testing since it let's you run multiple back at the same time, as well as change variables sent to the ROs.

We made a big change to the Adobe Groups homepage today. Now, when you log in, you'll see a list of all groups that you have joined right there on the page.
No more bookmarking groups or having to go to your profile page to see the full list!
