The weather did not turn out to be as bad as predicted. But if I am going to error it will be on the safe side. Sorry there is no meeting tonight. In its place we are going to gear up for our December 15th “Big Give Away” meeting.

So everyone has a homework assignment starting tonight! It’s contest time! I want to see video animations for the KCVideoCore! 10-15second long bumpers! Or 30 second spots. You chose!

This video can be created in After Effects, Flash, Premiere, heck, any Adobe software you have access too. Don’t have the software? Download the trials put together an entry and WIN the software! Use motion graphics and/or video. It can be an awesome animation or a low budget YouTube video!

Keep it clean and use at least the word KCVideoCore.

You will have to present the entry at the December 15th meeting! Give a few minutes speech on it giving a little information like, planning, production strategy, etc.

    WHAT CAN I WIN?

Well we have spent our $0 budget for the year, so what can we give away? More chances at the big prize!

1st place: 4-Raffle tickets for the big-give away!
2nd place: 2-Raffle tickets for the big-give away!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This CAN be your first meeting and still win!!!

If you're a serious video editor and could use something to dramatically shorten render times, please take a look at the nVidia Quadro FX4800 card.

I have one for sale (it's the PC version) and wanted to let this group know before I put it up on Ebay. I already have a QuadroCX board, and this is the same GPU, just with a new model designation by nVidia.

Here's a link to the technical info about this card, specifically about its interaction with Adobe CS4 products:

Please let me know if you're interested in purchasing this card, brand-new, in the box, never installed.

    Thanks!
