    Common uses

    Relafen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, is used to relieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (the most common form of arthritis).

    Before using

    Taking an NSAID can increase your risk of life-threatening heart or circulation problems, including heart attack or stroke. This risk will increase the longer you use an NSAID. Do not use this medicine just before or after having heart bypass surgery (also called coronary artery bypass graft, or CABG).
    NSAIDs can also increase your risk of serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation (forming of a hole). These conditions can be fatal and gastrointestinal effects can occur without warning at any time while you are taking an NSAID. Older adults may have an even greater risk of these serious gastrointestinal side effects.
    Do not use this medication if you are allergic to Relafen, or if you have a history of allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
    Before taking Relafen, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:
    - a history of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot;
    - heart disease, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure;
    - a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
    - liver or kidney disease,
    - asthma;
    - polyps in your nose;
    - a bleeding or blood clotting disorder; or
    - if you smoke.
    If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use Relafen, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment.
    FDA pregnancy category C. This medication may be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Taking Relafen during the last 3 months of pregnancy may result in birth defects. Do not take Relafen during pregnancy unless your doctor has told you to. It is not known whether Relafen passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Do not give this medicine to a child without the advice of a doctor.

    Directions

    Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start using nabumetone and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions regarding the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
    Take this medication by mouth usually once or twice daily with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters), unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid.
    Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. To minimize side effect risks (e.g., stomach bleeding), use this medication at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible length of time. Do not increase your dose or take it more frequently than prescribed. For chronic conditions such as arthritis, continue taking it as directed by your doctor. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor or pharmacist.
    In certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to 2 weeks when this drug is taken regularly before you notice the full benefits.
    If you are taking this drug on an "as needed" basis (not on a regular schedule), remember that pain medications work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. If you wait until the pain has significantly worsened, the medicine may not work as well.

    Cautions

    This drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. Also, related drugs rarely have caused blood clots to form, resulting in heart attacks and strokes. This medication might also rarely cause similar problems. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about the benefits and risks of treatment, as well as other possible medication choices.
    If you notice any of the following rare but very serious side effects, stop taking nabumetone and seek immediate medical attention: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest pain, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech.

    Possible side effects

    Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, gas, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, or headache may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
    Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
    Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, vision changes, hearing changes (e.g., ringing in the ears), mental/mood changes, fast/pounding heartbeat, persistent/severe headache, fainting, sun sensitivity, difficult/painful swallowing.
    Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: change in the amount of urine, easy bruising or bleeding, signs of infection (e.g., fever, persistent sore throat), unexplained stiff neck.
    This drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of the following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking nabumetone and consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness, severe stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting.
    A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
    This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    If you take too much

    Nabumetone overdose has been rarely reported. If acute overdosage occurs, it is recommended that the stomach be emptied by vomiting or lavage and institution of general supportive measures as necessary. In addition, the use of activated charcoal, up to 60 g, may effectively reduce nabumetone absorption. Coadministration of nabumetone with activated charcoal orally in man has resulted in an 80% decrease in maximum plasma concentrations of the active metabolite.

    Additional information

    You should have frequent checkups with your doctor if you take Relafen regularly. Ulcers or internal bleeding can occur with or without warning.

    Drug interactions

    Before taking Relafen, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following drugs:
    - a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin);
    - lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid);
    - methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall);
    - diuretics (water pills) such as furosemide (Lasix);
    - steroids (prednisone and others);
    - aspirin or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as etodolac (Lodine), flurbiprofen (Ansaid), indomethacin (Indocin), ketoprofen (Orudis), ketorolac (Toradol), mefenamic acid (Ponstel), meloxicam (Mobic), nabumetone (Relafen), naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn), piroxicam (Feldene), and others; or
    - an ACE inhibitor such as benazepril (Lotensin), captopril (Capoten), fosinopril (Monopril), enalapril (Vasotec), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), ramipril (Altace), and others.
    If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to use Relafen or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment.
    There may be other drugs not listed that can affect Relafen. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.

    What is Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Fluvoxamine is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Fluvoxamine affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause obsessive-compulsive symptoms.

    Fluvoxamine is used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorders involving recurring thoughts or actions.

    Fluvoxamine may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

    What is the most important information I should know about Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Do not take fluvoxamine together with thioridazine (Mellaril), terfenadine (Seldane), astemizole (Hismanal), cisapride (Propulsid), pimozide (Orap), or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate). You must wait at least 14 days after stopping an MAOI before you can take fluvoxamine. After you stop taking fluvoxamine, you must wait at least 14 days before you can start taking an MAOI.

    You may have thoughts about suicide when you first start taking an antidepressant, especially if you are younger than 24 years old. Fluvoxamine is FDA-approved for children with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It is not approved for treating depression in children. Your doctor will need to check you at regular visits for at least the first 12 weeks of treatment.
    Call your doctor at once if you have any new or worsening symptoms such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself. SSRI antidepressants may cause serious or life-threatening lung problems in newborn babies whose mothers take the medication during pregnancy. However, you may have a relapse of depression if you stop taking your antidepressant during pregnancy. If you are planning a pregnancy, or if you become pregnant while taking fluvoxamine, do not stop taking the medication without first talking to your doctor.

    What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Do not use fluvoxamine if you are using any of the following drugs:

    thioridazine (Mellaril);

    terfenadine (Seldane);

    astemizole (Hismanal);

    cisapride (Propulsid); or

    pimozide (Orap); or

    an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), or selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam).
    Serious and sometimes fatal reactions can occur when these medicines are taken with fluvoxamine. You must wait at least 14 days after stopping an MAO inhibitor before you can take fluvoxamine. After you stop taking fluvoxamine, you must wait at least 14 days before you can start taking an MAOI.

    Before taking fluvoxamine, tell your doctor if you have:

    liver disease;

    seizures or epilepsy;

    bipolar disorder (manic depression); or

    a history of drug abuse or suicidal thoughts.

    You may not be able to take fluvoxamine, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions listed above.

    You may have thoughts about suicide when you first start taking an antidepressant, especially if you are younger than 24 years old. Tell your doctor if you have worsening symptoms of depression or suicidal thoughts during the first several weeks of treatment, or whenever your dose is changed.

    Your family or other caregivers should also be alert to changes in your mood or symptoms. Your doctor will need to check you at regular visits for at least the first 12 weeks of treatment.
    FDA pregnancy category C. Fluvoxamine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Do not give fluvoxamine to anyone younger than 18 years old without the advice of a doctor. Fluvoxamine is FDA-approved for children with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It is not approved for treating depression in children.

    How should I take Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Take this medication exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results from the medication.
    Take each dose with water.

    Try to take the medicine at the same time each day. Follow the directions on your prescription label.
    It may take 4 weeks or more for you to start feeling better. Do not stop using fluvoxamine without first talking to your doctor. You may have unpleasant side effects if you stop taking this medication suddenly. Store fluvoxamine at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

    What happens if I miss a dose?

    Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next regularly scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next one as directed. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

    What happens if I overdose?

    Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have taken too much of this medication. Symptoms of a fluvoxamine overdose may include nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, lack of coordination, trouble breathing, drowsiness, fainting, and coma.

    What should I avoid while taking Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Do not take fluvoxamine together with thioridazine (Mellaril), terfenadine (Seldane), astemizole (Hismanal), cisapride (Propulsid), pimozide (Orap), or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate). Avoid drinking alcohol, which can increase some of the side effects of fluvoxamine.

    Avoid using other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold medicine, pain medication, muscle relaxers, medicine for seizures, other medication for depression or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by fluvoxamine.
    Fluvoxamine can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.

    Luvox (fluvoxamine) side effects

    Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: skin rash or hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

    Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

    tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness or twitching;

    seizure (convulsions);

    problems with balance or coordination;

    unusual thoughts or behavior; or

    agitation, confusion, sweating, fast heartbeat.

    Other less serious side effects are more likely to occur, such as:

    feeling nervous, restless, or unable to sit still;

    sleep problems (insomnia);

    drowsiness, weakness;

    urinating more than usual;

    loss of appetite, weight gain or loss;

    nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, constipation, or upset stomach;

    decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm; or

    dry mouth, unpleasant taste in your mouth.

    Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

    You may have some side effects after you stop using fluvoxamine, including headache, nausea, vomiting, sleepiness or insomnia, nervousness, or agitation.

    What other drugs will affect Luvox (fluvoxamine)?

    Before taking fluvoxamine, tell your doctor if you are using any of the following medicines:

    clozapine (Clozaril);

    lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith);

    propranolol (Inderal, Inderal LA) or metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL);

    carbamazepine (Carbatrol, Tegretol);

    warfarin (Coumadin);

    tryptophan (also called L-tryptophan);

    mexiletine (Mexitil);

    theophylline (Aerolate, Bronkodyl, Slo-Bid, Theo-Dur);

    methadone (Dolophine, Methadose);

    tacrine (Cognex);

    almotriptan (Axert), frovatriptan (Frova), sumatriptan (Imitrex), naratriptan (Amerge), rizatriptan (Maxalt), or zolmitriptan (Zomig);
    a benzodiazepine such as diazepam (Valium), alprazolam (Xanax), midazolam (Versed), or triazolam (Halcion); or

    any other antidepressants such as amitriptyline (Elavil), citalopram (Celexa), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), escitalopram (Lexapro), fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem), imipramine (Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), paroxetine (Paxil), or sertraline (Zoloft).

    If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to use fluvoxamine, or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment.

    There may be other drugs not listed that can affect fluvoxamine. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.

It is also used before some surgery or dental work to prevent infection and used in combination with other medicines to treat patients with H. pylori infections.

    Before using

    Do not use this medication if you are allergic to Amoxil or to any other penicillin antibiotic, such as ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), carbenicillin (Geocillin), dicloxacillin (Dycill, Dynapen), oxacillin (Bactocill), penicillin (Beepen-VK, Ledercillin VK, Pen-V, Pen-Vee K, Pfizerpen, V-Cillin K, Veetids), and others.

Amoxicillin will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu. Do not give amoxicillin to another person, even if they have the same symptoms you do.
    This medication can cause you to have unusual results with certain medical tests. Tell any doctor who treats you that you are using amoxicillin.
    Store amoxicillin at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light. You may store liquid amoxicillin in a refrigerator but do not allow it to freeze. Throw away any liquid amoxicillin that is not used within 14 days after it was mixed at the pharmacy.

    Cautions

    If you have ever had asthma, hives, hay fever, or other allergies, consult with your doctor before taking Amoxil.
    You should stop using Amoxil if you experience reactions such as bruising, fever, skin rash, itching, joint pain, swollen lymph nodes, and/or sores on the genitals. If these reactions occur, stop taking Amoxil unless your doctor advises you to continue.
    For infections such as strep throat, it is important to take Amoxil for the entire amount of time your doctor has prescribed. Even if you feel better, you need to continue taking Amoxil. If you stop taking Amoxil before your treatment time is complete, you may get other infections, such as glomerulonephritis (a kidney infection) or rheumatic fever.
    If you are diabetic, be aware that Amoxil may cause a false positive Clinitest (urine glucose test) result to occur. You should consult with your doctor about using different tests while taking Amoxil.
    Before taking Amoxil, tell your doctor if you have ever had asthma, colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), diabetes, or kidney or liver disease.
    The chewable tablet form of Amoxil contains phenylalanine. If you or your child has the hereditary disease phenylketonuria, this form of Amoxil should not be used.
    Possible side effects

    Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: dark urine, persistent nausea or vomiting, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes or skin, easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat or fever. This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (pseudomembranous colitis) due to a resistant bacteria. This condition may occur weeks after treatment has stopped. Do not use anti-diarrhea products or narcotic pain medications if you have the following symptoms because these products may make them worse. Tell your doctor immediately if you develop: persistent diarrhea, abdominal or stomach pain/cramping, or blood/mucus in your stool. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in oral thrush or a new vaginal yeast infection (oral or vaginal fungal infection). Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms. A serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    If you take too much

    Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.
    - Symptoms of Amoxil overdose may include:
    Diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting

    Additional information

    Amoxil should be used during pregnancy only when clearly needed. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. Since Amoxil may appear in breast milk, you should consult your doctor if you plan to breastfeed your baby.

    Drug interactions

    If Amoxil is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Amoxil with the following:
    Chloramphenicol
    Erythromycin
    Estrogen
    Oral contraceptives
    Other antibiotics, including tetracycline
    Probenecid

  • Vicker's Coding Kitchen » FlexFlex FAQ #9: 點解要 Spark - Jan 14

    Source: Vicker's Coding Kitchen » Flex by Vicker

Halo

    1) Skinning Skinning and Skinning

CSS map class…

States

    只要 define 一個 base state~ 然後 further define 其他 state 多左或者少左o既野~ 就可以好易做到 transition
    但係只要 state o既數量稍為多 d~ 又或者 state 同 state 之間變化比較多~ 就會開始 lost control…

    3) Heavy

    HostComponent 主要負責 event / state declaration 同埋 contain data
    SkinClass 就負責控制所有 graphic elements, state content 同 data binding

    State 裡面o既野唔再o係 state o既層面處理~ 而係o係 control o既層面處理
    配合埋 Flash Builder o既 State editor 要知道 current state 有乜簡直易如反掌
