I was a part of the initial beta of this product here at groups.adobe.com. I have waded through the wet paint and have given it all I had. I really believe it will become the product all us managers hoped for, and strongly believe in having a presence here.

Having said that, there is some functionality we need. Being able to let you guys know when a meeting is available is essential for growth so I decided to use meetup.com for now. The URL is http://www.meetup.com/KCWebCore/ .

I realize I asked you all to join here, and I really appreciate it. I see coming back at some point in the future but for the next 6 months at least, we will ask you to rsvp via Meetup.

I really appreciate your corporation and remember any topics, changes in meeting days or times you need, I am here for you guys. The group is yours and what direction it takes is up to you.

    Your humble manager

    Dee

@alienmeatsack Asks: Why oh why did they take out the interactive part of photomerge in PS CS4???  Photomerge has come along way since earlier version. It now takes advantage of the complex seam carving engine in Photoshop CS4. This means it can create fantastic masks that pick the absolute best way to stitch images. Around 8 months ago I was asked to start thinking about the now emerging (particularly from a Flash Platform perspective) world of multi-screen application development. What are issues to consider? What guidance should we offer? It turns out that my thinking on that topic isn’t going to become anything in the Adobe documentation. So I’ve sort [...]

Lately I've been experimenting with generative art in Flash/ActionScript 3. Its been pretty fun and I've created some interesting results. In my experience, and I can only assume in most other artists and developers cases, I really got familiar with the Flash Player's performance limitiations. More specifically, I came to truly find out just how [...]

Here’s the second episode of seantheflexguyTV! In this episode I talk about the upcoming Flash and the City conference in NYC. I also cover some of the new features and capabilities of AIR 2.0 and do a quick review of the Flex 3 with Java book. This episode should be a little more organized and [...]
