On June 27th Raghunath Thircovil , Adobe Flash Platform Evangelist and Manju Kiran, Sr.Lead Software Engineer Adobe ColdFusion team are coming to Chennai to talk about the Next Version of Adobe ColdFusion code named Centaur, New IDE for ColdFusion code named Bolt and about the latest additions to the Adobe Flash Platform: Adobe Flash Builder and Adobe Flash Catalyst.

So Flex is now Flash Builder (4), like many other developers I was exited to try out the new Adobe IDE. I was especially interested in the much needed bug fixes from Flex 3 and missing features (at last a proper 'Generate getters and setters' option for AS classes). As a Linux user I was also very disappointed to find out that Adobe has currently neglected it's Builder for Linux support. Thanks for all the feedback in response to the survey I posted earlier today. I feel I should clarify a few things. I'm touchy about hearing things like "As soon as Adobe bought Fireworks, the PS guys would be trying to kill it. Good job, mission accomplished."
