Last year at around this time we were getting ready to welcome the Adobe MAX conference to our windy lakeshore. But apparently they got intimidated by our presidential and Olympic prospects, because they moved it back to the west coast.

So if you are so lucky to make it out to MAX in San Francisco next week, make sure you look out for me. Definitely drop by the Community Lounge and put in a good word about your local User Group.

If you aren't able to attend be sure to come out to our meeting on November 17th, it's the next best things

Back in 1995, we when first started this group as the Chicago Area Director/Lingo User Group, we were grateful to even get an e-mail back from then Macromedia. Now we actually have a place right here on the Adobe site!

It is because of the involvement of the Chicago Area community that has allowed us to grow and thrive over the last 13 plus years. And now with the great features of Adobe Groups we'll have yet another way to keep in touch and continue build community in that part of the country that might be overlooked in recognition but never equaled in talent.
