    Jeff Tapper of Digital Primates willl be giving a free full-day, hands-on training session, where experienced ColdFusion Developers can learn how to build their first Flex application using the latest Flash Builder 4 beta software. This training is designed to help experienced ColdFusion developers get started in understanding how to add rich UI to existing and new ColdFusion applications.

      Currently seeking an Adobe Flex Developer with ActionScript 3 experience as well. This is a 1+ year contract with a firm in downtown Chicago. Position is full-time and developer will work on-site in the clients office. 40+ hours per week. Salary/Rate is commensurate with experience. Must be a US citizen and prefer local candidates.

      Required Experience
      Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
      At least 5 years experience of enterprise web development 
      participating in the complete product development lifecycle of 
      several successful projects
      Must be well versed in ActionScript 3.0 and Flex libraries. 
      Must demonstrate a strong programming basis in at least one 
      other major language such as Java, C, C++, Perl, or previous 
      versions of Actionscript.
      Must possess proven knowledge of Object oriented principles 
      and design patterns.
      Must be knowledgeable about current RIA technologies, 
      frameworks and tools.
      A strong knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:
      XML/XSLT
      HTML/XHTML
      W3C DOM methods and properties
      CSS, DHTML, JavaScript
