ColdFusion guru, Jeremy Allaire, has written a very good article that takes a very objective look into the future.
The Future of Web Content ? HTML5, Flash & Mobile Apps
http://www.techcrunch.com/2010/02/05/the-future-of-web-content-html5-flash-mobile-apps/
He sums it up perfectly, "Its all about reach. While it is easy to take a binary position in the future of content applications and run-times, it is evident that the competing interests of platform vendors, consumers and app and content publishers will ensure that this remains a fragmented and competitive environment for many years to come."

There has been a lot more chatter on blogs, twitter, etc. recently about Flash NOT being included on the new apple iPad and it possibily being replaced in the distant future by HTML 5.
Here is a very good response from Adobe with the perfect title
Open Access to Content and Applications
http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2010/02/open_access_to_content_and_app.html
I won't comment specifically about it ... because I'm too busy building high-demand Flash-based RIA solutions with Flex and Air 2 :)

Check out this XMradio iPhone App powered by ColdFusion 9!
If you're not aware, Adobe did a pre-release of Flash 10.1 and Air 2.0 in at http://labs.adobe.com . Flash CS5, when it comes out, supports compiling your Flash/Flex apps to native iPhone format. Very cool.
