    Miller & Associates is doing it again! 2008 was a great introduction to the sophisticated representation Miller & Associates contributes to the world of technology in the Dallas Metroplex. This year we are taking it to a whole new level. Within the past year Miller & Associates began to experiment using Flex in some refreshing ways that we are excited to share with you!

    This year Miller & Associates is mixing it up. The Miller & Associates office is walking distance from the Marriott and has opened the doors to the training room for anyone with a ticket to come invest some time during the conference and get some hands on training in Flex. Dan Blackman and the Miller & Associates Staff will be readily available to help you become more comfortable with Flex.     BS degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college, university or technical institute

    Professional Experience / Technical Skills

    A minimum of five years of ColdFusion development experience.

    A minimum of five years of SQL, relational databases, and stored procedures experience.

    Experience with software development using ColdFusion MX 7 and ColdFusion 8.

    Must have Software Development LifeCycle experience.

    Must have project management experience.

    Must have experience with DreamWeaver, CFEclipse or related Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

    Must be able to follow specifications, standards, coding guidelines and industry best practices.

    Must have documentation experience.

    Must have strong communications skills, both written and oral.

    Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).

    Experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript and AJAX.

    A solid understanding of database design concepts such as relational data, normalization, performance, parent/child relationships, and data modeling.

    Preferable Experience with software development with ColdFusion Components utilizing them as objects

    Preferable familiarity with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks.

    Preferable experience with Java Applets.

    Certification

    Preferable Adobe ColdFusion MX 7 Certified Developer

    Preferable Sun Microsystem Java Certified Programmer
