At our next meeting we will have traditional animator Tony White. Tony is one of the top traditional animators working today and we are very fortunate that DigiPen brought him to the Pacific Northwest. Tony’s amazing bio it too long to put in into this space and short one would not do him justice. Please refer to his bio on Amazon.com; while you’re there make sure you check out the reviews on his 3 books and DVD.
Tony's topic is “A Life in the Day of an Endangered Species”. He will be discussing the history of traditional animation and his journey within it.
He will also tell us about the Animaticus Foundation, an organization that he started that brings us the 2D or not 2D festival and discuss the Animaticus Foundation's exciting new adventure.
Tony will be bringing copies of his books, and his DVD for sale at discounted prices. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Animaticus Foundation.
This is Tony’s 2nd visit to our group and has always been a strong supporter of the Seattle Flash User Group. His books are excellent if you don’t pick one up, you will wish you did.
