Attached are the notes from the January 2010 AAUG meeting. Twenty people braved the unusual cold and took the effort to find the unfamiliar location. They were well rewarded with a great presentation and lots of useful links and resources.
After the meeting, several people told me what a great job I do as Group Manager. They said I make it look easy. It isn't. It is a lot of work. Managing a group like ours is impossible . . . without the help I get from folks like Cornelius Chopin, John Marostica, Joe Iagnemmo, Karen Kreps, Michael Moore, Yvonne Beever, Linda Lange and others. Alamo Area Multi Media Group Manager, Glynn Barrows, has opened his doors to me, given me good advice from the very start and continues to point me toward benefits and events that he thinks would interest our group. It would also be very hard without all the help I get from Adobe, O'Reilly, Webucator, Peachpit, nHive and others who provide our website, door prizes, books to review, product discounts and updates and on and on. The list of folks and organizations that keep us in the loop about local training and events is too long to give here. When managing AAUG looks easy, it is because of you. Thank you all!

Attached are the notes for the September AAUG meeting. They are rather long because presenters and members gave us lots of great information and resources.
We had a good turn out and enjoyed meeting at the lovely Texas Association of Counties building. Laura Westcott and the Association were great hosts!
We will be back "home" for the rest of the year at Criss Cole Rehabilitation thanks to Michael Moore for reserving the rooms for us.
