Ukrainian Adobe Flash Platform User Group is a bit different. We're not just discussing Flex, Flash and other Flash Platform related technologies, but we also strive to cover the maximum number of cities in our country. We already had meetings in Kiev, Kharkiv, L'viv, Donetsk and Kerch, Nikolaev in Crimea. A lot of people get excited when we came. We are to come to Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and more cities of Ukraine.

UAFPUG is one year old, growing and active group. It tends to cover all the country of Ukraine. This is one of our concept as a User Group — to embrace the land with meetings on our favorite technology.
During 2008, we had 9 meetings in 5 different cities. Each meeting was attended by 30-150 participants and it seems people really like it. Some even travel to other cities to attend. And our member Igor Ruzanov never missed a meeting!
Each meeting is planned to have its individual thematic and concept. We already had meetings like "Keep your code clean", "Programmers vs. Animators", "MVC Frameworks: PureMVC vs. Cairngorm vs. Mate", "Flash games: create, invest, monetize", and so on. We also had international summer meeting in Crimea, called URAFPUG (UAFPUG + RAFPUG), where Ukrainian and Russian User Groups met to spend a week on the seashore, keeping the speeches and discussions as the main features. We also had Adobe evangelist Mihai Corlan on this event, and he left us in great mood. We like our meetings.

Історія виникнення та діяльності групи
Завдяки поштовій Інтернет-групі uaFlash в інтернет-просторі України утворилась певна спільнота, що на даний момент виходить на якісно новий рівень роботи та існування. В стислий термін (один день) Андрій Микитюк зі Львова створив цей сайт. Він же сповістив про створення групи компанію Adobe, яка надала групі офіційного статуту 6 березня 2008 року.
