
Yesterday was my first debut seminar in India. The subject - "Flash Platform on mobile devices". This was also the probably the first Flash Platform seminar in Kolkata covering the various aspects of Flash, including the Flash mobile platform.The 2 Hours free seminar, consisted of :
Since it was not very much planned , so didnt have time to advertise too much. It basically was for the "Arena Multimedia" students taking up Flash and Actionscript in their course. But judging by the response i definitely expect to see a much larger crowd in the next one.
Just happened to bump on a site today, that offers RTMP api for J2ME. The Api lets J2ME play back streaming video /audio from RTMP servers. The best part is that it even allows publishing to RTMP server. That is something Flash lite is really missing on. Although the Api is really priced high, but i guess its worth it. Here is the developer’s guide page, that demonstrates the code. I guess Adobe should notice that.
