We used to be know as the Flex User Group New Zealand. We recently rebranded as the Flash Platform User Group New Zealand and launched separate chapters in Auckland and Wellington to support further growth. 

We hold regular meetings and presentations, we run the annual Flash Platform Code Camp in Wellington and we're running the NZ-based email list for (mainly) Flex and AIR development.

What's the Flash Platform anyway? We cover Flash, Flex, Flash Catalyst, Flash Player, PDF, ColdFusion, AIR, BlazeDS and even LiveCycle DS, LC ES and Adobe's new LiveCycle Collaboration Services. 

Our major partner group is the Flash Platform User Group in Auckland and together we form the Flash Platform User Group New Zealand. Locally in Wellington we partner with a variety of other user groups and in particular with Wellington's Creative Suite User Group.
