We are back in less than a months time for our next Bangalore Flex User Group Meet.We will be exploring recipes for cooking up custom flex components with Chetan :-) Thanks Chetan and i am sure we will have a delicious time with you during the evening :-)

We will explore life cycle of a component
When it is born and when it dies
Mystery of createChildren, measure, commitProperties and updateDisplayList
What those methods are doing in flex, why they are there, what is UIComponent
When to override and which method ?
Creating a simple Custom Component, (if time allows)
