Sidney Maestre
Sid Maestre has been designing and developing web applications since 1998. His passion for cutting-edge technology led him into Rich Internet Application and now into mobile development.
Sid spent many years consulting with startups, building both ColdFusion and Flash based applications. Recently, Sid founded Crush It Mobile, focused on mobile apps in the conference space.
Sid’s community involvement includes managing the Bay Area ColdFusion User Group, organizing the first ColdFusion DevCamp in 2009, and speaking at 360|Flex San Jose in 2010.

Learn how to use HTML, CSS, and jQuery to build mobile applications you can deliver across multiple devices. In this lab, we'll cover jQuery basics and incorporate the jQTouch plug-in to manage navigation, touch events, animation, and skinning. Techniques for client-side data storage and data caching will also be covered.
Skill Level: Intermediate Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Requirements: Your own laptop, Safari Browser, HTML Editor (I'll be using Dreamweaver CS5)
