It seems much longer but about a year ago, I got the idea for a new Adobe User Group with the focus of video on the web and mobile devices. I pitched it at an Orange County MultiMedia Association (OCMMA) annual planning meeting. The OCMMA Board's support and agreement from John Koch of Adobe paved the way for its heralded debut last February. Based on the quality presentations and enthusiastic participation by the attendees, 2010 was a great year for our WebVid group. I'd like to thank each of our presenters for the enlightenment and inspiration they provided. The topics ranged from SEO to streaming video from an rc-helicopter. What a fun and beneficial year!

Our January 13, 2011, meeting will focus on how we can use our group and its programs to build our impact and business success this year. Then our February meeting will be a celebration of our Anniversary with gems from each of the year's meetings explored further.

The view in the rearview mirror looks great but hold on, what we are going to see through the windshield promises to be even better. Join me for a wild ride!
