Speakers

Sam is a software developer and technology consultant for Miller and Associates/Dedo Inc. As a developer Sam has worked on both flex and java based projects. Sam's focus is for RIA and Desktop applications built with Flash/Flex technology. Recently Sam has started to create collaborative applications using Adobe's Livecycle Collaboration Services and P2P communications.

This month we have UTD Alumni and Dedo Inc. developer Sam Bunting talking about Adobe Collaboration Services. Sam will be showing off some of his own Collaboration Services backed applications on both devices and the desktop; we will also get a good kickoff for others that are wanting to use Collaboration services. Sam will highlight some of the pitfalls he's hit over time working with ACCS and his thoughts on the platform. This is a great time to come with questions for someone that really knows what he is doing.

We won't be holding 101 training anymore as there is a lack of interest.
Once on UTD:
Here is a map link for UTD: http://www.utdallas.edu/map/ You will notice in the bottom right the building marked "SOM". That is the School of Management (also shown in the legend).
Make sure to enter the school via "University Drive" on Campbell Road. From this main drive you will get to the courtesy officer and be able to get a parking pass.
You can park in Lots J, Q, or M (around the building) as long as you park in a "Green" or "White" space. The curb and bumpers at the school are painted the colors. This information the parking officer will also give you when you head on campus through the main entrance - through University, shown at the bottom of the map.
Once in the SOM (there are no time restrictions on the doors) there are signs and directions to the different numbered classrooms from any entrance, at that point it should be very easy.
Let me know if you have any other issues getting around.
