Job Description

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) seeks two temporary ColdFusion developers to work on a contract basis on site in Savannah, Georgia, starting immediately-June 1.

 Candidates must be able to design, develop and implement web-based applications, as well as produce high-quality, well-commented code. Qualified candidates must also possess the following:

·         Strong application development-related work experience using ColdFusion (8) and CFCs. Recent experience with Cold Fusion is a necessity.

·         Strong SQL development skills.

·         Strong background and experience in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, including abstraction.

·         Experience designing and developing web-based applications using HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, (Jquery,) and CSS (including cross browser issues).

·         Experience in one or more of: PHP, .NET, C#, C++, XML, Python, Perl, Linux/Unix-specific knowledge.

·         Ability/experience in taking projects from inception to completion.

·         Ability to manage your own work schedule, effectively plan and complete projects in a timely fashion
