Jerry Ela is the founder and president of the Capital District Flex Developers Network.  He works for Troy Web Consulting where his title is Chief Mad Scientist. He has more than 25 years experience in information technology.  He speciales in Rich Internet Application Development and data visualization. He is a Certified Adobe Instructor for both Flex and Coldfusion.

• Code Walkthrough: MultiNote - Jerry Ela

  • I like to be able to jot down notes, while using my computer.  I've used a notes file in a text editor for this in the past, but managing notes on multiple subjects in one file, or managing multiple files was cumbersum.  I tried the Mac Stickies app, but it also was pain after 3 or 4 sets of notes. Being a Flex/AIR developer I decided to write my own solution: MultiNotes.  MultiNotes is a simple app, but it makes it easy to take and manage notes on multiple subjects.  I'll walk you through the code and show you how I put it together.
