Flash / AS3 Programmer - Junior Position

Job Description

Required skills: Knowledge of Actionscript 3 programming and a love of games
Other desirable skills: Knowledge of Flex and/or Haxe
Working with an experienced, focused but easy-going team which includes some industry veterans
The studio makes premium online games, featuring high quality art and production values not cheap knock-offs.  It has several international contracts coming up and their games have been played over 6 million times.
Their focus is on arcade-action games with your own spin / innovative ideas + awesome artwork
The team is based in a lifestyle block on the outskirts of Auckland.  You can work from home, connecting with the rest of the team online and do the occasional trip to the office if you like.
The studio uses rapid prototyping and fast development cycles, taking 3 months to make a game on average, so you won't get bored easily. Looking for a recent graduate, but happy to pay more for an experienced developer.
