The power of motion graphics is realized when the dynamics of rotation, position, size and optical effects are orchestrated and synchronized to sound.
Dr Sassi walked us through the workflow of creating choreographics with Maxon C4D Broadcast. C4D has an artist friendly customizable interface and workflow that allows the artist to choreograph and synchronize moves without line by line scripts or programming. Motion Graphic Artists also like the excellent integration with the After Effects compositing pipeline.
For those new to 3D artistry, C4D's intuitive interface and logical workflow make it possible to dive in and be productive quickly.

You can find Dr Sassi and his tutorials on the online training and education resource, Cineversity. Cineversity, a subscription based service brings a wide variety of resources for learning C4D to you.

The creative Process with Rogers Studio
Our Feburary meeting continued with a look at the design process for a TBS promo. Rogers Studio won the design bid for the Conan O'Brien Promo/TBS. Terrence Lee was on hand to talk design and walk us through the creative process, from initial concept through actual production hurdles  and the work arounds for creating the promo spot.
