The Father of Trapcode - Peder Norrby

Entry

Trapcode products have become industry-standard and are constantly seen on TV and in films, such as Angles and Demons, Sin City, Spiderman 3, and Matrix Revolutions to name a few. Peder Norrby, the Father of Trapcode reveals how his passion for art, music and programming lead him to create the most popular must have plug-ins for After Effects - Trapcode, including Shine, Sound keys, Particular and Form.
At the age of 14 combining art and programming on a Commandore 64 Peder was inspired to create! He worked as a carpenter's apprentice to fuel his passion of programming and an education in computer science. Trapcode was started in 2001 and grew organically. The focus is on creating groundbreaking robust software within the areas of computer/motion graphics and audio. Today it is still a one-man company and this is made possible by partnering with publisher Red Giant Software, handeling sales and tech support.
Harry Frank with Red Giant Software showed off some of the Trapcode plug-ins in action. Thanks Harry for the impromtu demo.  NAB-Live wrap up ...... Ko(yes our own manager) a producer for NAB Live this year showed footage he captured and highlighted the events of the show.
