Title
Hard Drive recommendations?
Content
I am looking to add at least one external hard drive to my current set up. Just upgraded to a new iMac w/ 8gig, and am using the Adobe Master Collection. Not looking for an array at this time, and prefer not to spend too much. Probably just a 1 gig drive, maybe two drives. Particular brands or models?
A bit later, I may be looking at something like this, but not right away:

Thanks.

For instance, a drive that is used for backing up huge Photoshop files or photos may not need to be as fast as one that you're using to Read/Write video files. Usually the size isn't as important as the speed. Remember 1G is pretty small in today's standards. Perhaps 1T is something you'll consider. I like GTech drives. They're pricey, but they've been pretty good to me. For straight-ahead storage, you might want to consider bare drives and a nice looking enclosure. hth |
