Adobe have just announced the release of the Adobe Captivate 5.5 exam see the link below.  Just in time as i was (finally) going to get around to doing the Cp5 exam!!

Can anyone recommend any materials for preparing for theis exam?

Having just sat the exam i can say the objectives do closely match the questions. In regards to material, there is not much around for Cp5.5, so you will be going back to Cp5 material, and then looking at whats changed/been added to Cp5.5 (extra emphasis on this group needed).

Two sources of info are the courseware from www.iconlogic.com or the guides are www.gooberguides.com In addition good experience in using Cp5.5 would be useful as well!

The other good source is the help within captivate, you can download the pdf. I have printed this out and keep it on hand for when needed. Bear in mind this exam is multiple choice and menu driven, so if you are in the habit of using the keyboard shortcuts then I recommend you also know the menu location, and also ensure you understand the accessibility functions in captivate.
