Title
Feb. 1: Mobile Dev with jQuery and ColdFusion

Entry

Hello, everyone!  We're gearing up for next week's meeting of the Los Angeles ColdFusion User Group.  Dave Ferguson will speak on Mobile Development with JQuery and ColdFusion:
DESCRIPTION:
Mobile development is on the rise, like a launching rocket.  However, there are many different ways to jump on board and get started.  Some are easy. Some, well, not so much.  Why not take what you already know and apply it to mobile development?  This presentation will take a look at using jQuery Mobile and ColdFusion to create an immersive mobile experience.  The presentation will also be an open discussion where we can talk about other ways to do mobile development and the challenges brought forth.
ABOUT DAVE FERGUSON
Dave has been working in information technology for many, many, years. He has spent the majority of that time specializing in large enterprise-class systems. Dave currently holds a Master ColdFusion Developer certification as well as many other information technology certifications. He runs his own ColdFusion blog,http://blog.dkferguson.com where he posts interesting things he comes across.  He is also one of the voices of the CFHour podcast http://www.cfhour.com.  The podcast, just like his blog, is mostly focused on ColdFusion but dabbles in to other technologies. Dave is also a member of the Adobe Community Professional group.
LOCATION AND TIME
February 1, 7:00 pm (Doors open at 6:00)
5959 W. Century Blvd. Suite 1111
Los Angeles, CA 90045
We're still meeting at the offices of TollFreeForwarding.com, near LAX. It's in the office building next to the Crowne Plaza hotel. You can look for street parking on 98th St. or park in the structure (but be warned: the structure is expensive.)
We hope to see you there!
