The April Meeting of the Los Angeles User Group is going to be next week on Wednesday, April 4 at 7pm.

George McKinney of Zukini Mobile will be presenting on Mobile Development with PhoneGap.

George McKinney has been a LAMP-stack and Flash Developer since 2005 working on projects for Kraft, Disney, Total Immersion and others. His mobile application development experience covers BlackBerry, iPhone and Android development using Adobe's AIR for Mobile and Apache's open source PhoneGap/Cordova Project .

This presentation will dive into PhoneGap's device API's on Android devices though many of the examples will work on iPhone and BlackBerry as well (Previous experience with JavaScript is recommended).

There is free 2-hour street parking on the north side of the building, on 98th St., or you can park in the parking structure.  There is a parking fee of $1.50 for 20 minutes, but I think there's a max of $12.

Doors open at 6:00. The presentation starts at 7:00.
