There's been an explosion of free, online courses targeted Web application development professionals in the past year. This provides those of us who build Web applications a great opportunity for professional development and career growth. In this session, we'll take a look at some of the major players in this space and how you can participate in college-level courses for free. We'll also look at some of the approaches that these courses take to delivering content and having you participate in learning exercises. The courses won't be specific to ColdFusion, or even Adobe, but they do give great opportunities for brushing up on the basics, learning a new language, or tackling advanced programming techniques.
