Job Description

Assist in the application of a comprehensive marketing program to meet the University’s strategic goals; work with creative teams in developing, producing, maintaining, and evaluating complex websites and other online communications; design and maintain site information architecture, navigational structure, user interface, visual design, graphics, and multimedia components.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia, computer science, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum of three years of full-time, relevant experience in the field.
Proven experience with professional web-development and graphics tools.
Proven experience in designing and developing engaging web user experiences, information architecture, and web graphics.
Experience designing and coding CSS standard-compliant websites.

Desired Experience

Experience developing creative and successful web solutions within an established corporate identity system.
Proven experience developing interactive features and design elements for desktop and mobile web devices using XHTML, HTML 5, HTML email, CSS, JavaScript, video, audio, Flash/AS3, or other multimedia technologies.
Experience directing and editing photography and video.
Experience meeting web accessibility standards.

Required Skills

Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and to work independently.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new web-development methods and technologies.
Strong knowledge of web marketing principles.
