Cross Platform Mobile frontier with HTML5 and Javascript

Mobile is a hot item right now as everyone wants their products and servies to be accessible constantly. We will look at some example applications and then create our own application for iOS and Android using Sencha and PhoneGap talking over the pros and cons of using web technologies along the way.

For the designers in the group we will talk about the power, and limitations, of CSS and building within the expecations of the mobile ecosystem. Developers don't worry though there will be enough code to get you excited as we will look at the MVC framework of Sencha and the developers workflow. We will also jump into the foundamentals of javascript and look at why this messy language is so fun to code in.

If your up for following along and creating your own app bring your laptop and be ready to type away as we dive head first into mobile applications and the future of cross platform development.
