Agenda

The Un-Angry Bird: Game Development with Starling, Flash CS6, and Nape with Nils Thingvall

If you're interested in making games, consider the potent cocktail of: Starling, Flash CS6, and Nape. The new Starling library brings the delicious benefits of GPU acceleration to 2D games (and other applications) -- allowing you to bring high performance games to desktops and mobile devices complete with the sprites, particles, and awesomeness you crave. Combine that with the Nape physics engine, the Starling Particle Editor, and the animation power of Flash CS6, and you have a great workflow for quickly producing 2D video games. Thingvall's discussion will be an overview about getting started with the tools needed for successful game development within the Flash platform.

Adobe Touch Apps and the Creative Cloud:
Adding Adobe's Creative Cloud and your tablet of choice into a desktop based workflow with Jordan Pagels

Pagels will give a us a quick introduction of each of Adobe's six new Touch Applications and how to implement them into your desktop-based workflow. The discussion will focus on combining Adobe's new Creative Cloud service and Touch Apps to augment and expedite your current workflow.
