After the success of two raffles, the Contemporary Image Collective (CiC) cordially invites you to our third annual Raffle on the Roof, which will take place on June 3, 2009.

CiC looks forward to making this year’s Raffle the most successful Raffle to date, with nearly 40 Egyptian and international artists participating.

The Raffle on the Roof is a fundraising event as well as a photo-exhibition, a party and a community-building event. The money generated by this event will go towards developing new productions by young emerging local artists.

Tickets cost 350 LE. If you are not participating in the Raffle, you can also join us for the exhibit, food and drinks for an admission fee of 10 LE.

The collection will be available online on our website, www.ciccairo.com from May 25, 2009 onwards. We will be regularly updating the website and are expecting all the images to be online by May 30th.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PLAY:

1. Buy a raffle ticket with a unique number from CiC from 21 May to 3 June.
2. Check the collection of prints to be exhibited online at www.ciccairo.com starting May 25, 2009 and make a note of your preferences.
3. Come to CiC roof-terrace on 3 June at 5 pm to view the prints on exhibit until the raffle begins at 7pm.
4. As each ticket number is drawn and announced, the ticket-holder may choose any photographic print from what is available at the given time.The sooner the ticket holder’s number is called, the better the chances are of winning the print of his / her choice.
5. The raffle continues until the very last print is taken from the wall.
