Title
learning flex, the free stuff
Content
dr. jedt's presentation at the TAUG (6-jun-2009) had a good "end game" where he went thru flex/AS3 related books--i thought that was a very nice touch. but since i'm kind of cheap i thought maybe a list of freebies might also be worthwhile:
- tour de flex, what's not to like about something cycling related ;-) http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/tourdeflex/
- flex "learning paths": http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/learn/
- "flex in a week" (btw that's a five day "work" week) while it sounds too good to be true, i think you can actually get up & running using this traning video: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/videotraining/
- flex and coldfusion (of course, they go together like beer & loud music): http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/flex_cf.html
- flex and java: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/flex_java.html
- the sometimes overlooked sidebar at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/ is chock full of good stuff
while not exactly 100% for sure flex, livecycle (LC) is probably something folks might want to check out especially as flex is probably its best front end:
- tour de livecycle: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/tourdelivecycle/
- livecycle cafe: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/cafe/
