The Ottawa Flash Platform User Group is bringing you another great event on July 7th, with presentations by two big names, Jonathan Snook and Julian Dolce. There will be a wealth of knowledge and experience in the room, so you won't want to miss out. Come to watch, listen, learn, ask questions and get to know your fellow Flash/Flexers in the Ottawa area.

Jonathan Snook is a creator of striking designs, impeccable markup and code, and forward-thinking ideas and applications.From front-end work to hardcore server-side challenges, he shares tips, tricks and bookmarks on snook.ca, along with other publications online and offline. He has also coauthored two acclaimed books: Accelerated DOM Scripting with Ajax, APIs, and Libraries, and the approachable, widely-read The Art and Science of CSS.

In his off time, he has also teamed up with a dynamic group of world-class partners to form Sidebar Creative, who invent innovative applications, including Snitter, My Mile Marker, and Overheard.it.

Julian Dolce is Director of Creative Technologies with Fuel Industries in Ottawa, a company specializing in online branded entertainment that focuses on creating immersive and engaging web experiences for its clients and their customers.

As a valuable contributor to Fuel Industries' successes, Julian directs his team to remain on the cutting edge of new design technologies in order to create the most original Flash and Silverlight Applications.

In April 2008 Fuel help launch McDonald's first Digital Happy Meal Toy, with 81 million units in 30+ countries in Europe.
