Title
Time Tracking Software

Content

I have FINALLY started to use some time tracking software for my jobs with clients.  I cannot believe it took me 10 years to get around to doing this...but, hey, I never balance my checkbook either.  ;)

I found this software - http://www.nchsoftware.com/timesheet/index.html

Pretty good for being free....but, I am willing to pay for something a little more robust.  I would like to be able to generate reports which allow a better customized look to email to clients.  Any of you folks using some software you would recommend?  My price threshold is probably a hundy or less.

Thanks in advance.

<p>I still go old school and use pen &amp; paper or sometimes my clients have their own tracking system. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>I've heard good things about OfficeTime - $47 (&nbsp;<a href="http://www.officetime.net/">http://www.officetime.net/</a> ). &nbsp; There is also Klok - Free ( <a href="http://klok.mcgraphix.com/klok/index.htm">http://klok.mcgraphix.com/klok/index.htm</a>) , which is an Adobe AIR app. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>One of my clients tracks time through UnFuddle (<a href="http://unfuddle.com/">http://unfuddle.com/</a>). &nbsp;Unfuddle is many things ( project mgt, subversion hosting), but they have a free plan that you can use to create tickets and track time against those. &nbsp; The free plan is only 1 project, but I figure I can name the tickets by client &amp; task, and use it to track my time. &nbsp;</p>

<p>I've been using the webapp Freshbooks for a while.( http:www.freshbooks.com ) I pay $9/month. They also have an iPhone time-tracking app, and I believe a Mac/PC widget. Unfortunately can't customize the look/feel of the invoices.</p> <p>I know a lot of people love Harvest ( http://www.getharvest.com ). I haven't tried it because it hasn't yet been integrated with other webapps I use. They have a Mac/PC widget. Pricing should be similar to Freshbooks.</p>
