Job Description

INTERACTIVE DEVELOPER
DazMedia has an immediate opening for an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative Interactive Developer who is eager to produce high-end innovative applications utilizing the latest development tools.This position focuses on developing interactive applications using Adobe Flash, HTML, CSS, and XML technologies.The individual must have
an exceptionally strong knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and be able to write custom classes effectively and efficiently. The applicant must have a strong ability to integrate creative design with programming functionality.The candidate will also work on a daily basis with the creative, video, and application service team members to
produce high-end engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the engagement team to identify technological requirements
- Work with creative team to develop designs, flow diagrams, concepts, and prototypes
- Plan production benchmarks with the engagement team
- Hands-on development of multiple interactive flash and Web sites
- Conduct thorough testing, quality control, and debugging as needed
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and researchers to refine the user experience
- Work in conjunction with application developers during the development lifecycle to ensure that interactive techniques and application functionality meet the project requirements

Technical Skills 

- Required: Action Script 3.0, HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript, GUI Design Principles
- Tablet applications, Flex, Papervision 3D, Adobe Air SQL/MySQL,
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum 3 years of interactive development experience
- Experience in consumer and professional health care applications
- Must be able to manage multiple projects
- Experience in developing applications that utilize interactive and streaming media components
- Experienced in all aspects of application lifecycle development
- Minimum of 3 years as an active and integral part of an interactive development team
- Must be able to articulate technical information to sales and internal production service teams
- Must exhibit strong leadership abilities and management abilities
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Self-starter with a high degree of ingenuity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented business
- The ability to have fun and be creative while working in a deadline-driven environment is a necessity
- Must have an online profile or code sample
