Mike Rankin has worked in publishing since 1995, as compositor, illustrator, designer, prepress specialist, and trainer. He is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign and Photoshop, and has been an InDesign trainer since 2003. He blogs at InDesignSecrets.com, writes for InDesign Magazine, and has authored ebooks on InDesign, including The Guide to the CS5 ACE Exam, and The Indesign Secrets Guide to Graphic Effects. He works for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in Boston as a Manager of Workflow Automation.

Christophe's Bio: Christophe Coenraets is a Technical Evangelist for Adobe where he focuses on Rich Internet Applications and Enterprise Integration. He has been working on Flex since the early days of the product in 2003. In his previous role at Macromedia, Christophe worked on JRun, the company's J2EE application server. Before joining Macromedia, Christophe was managing Java, Internet, and PowerBuilder evangelism at Powersoft/Sybase. Christophe has been a regular speaker at conferences worldwide for the last 15 years. He blogs at http://coenraets.org.

Andy Beach is the Director of Product Management at Inlet Technologies, where he drives strategic product direction and oversees all aspects of product marketing, management, and support. He is also the author of Real World Video Compression, published by Peachpit in April of 2008. Prior to joining Inlet, Beach served as the Director of Product Development at Magnet Media where he oversaw the creation of Zoom In Online, a website offering exclusive access to the latest in creative culture, entertainment, and technology through regularly published podcasts, internet video and blogs. He also co-founded New York-based interactive agency Last Exit, where he led several award-winning interactive projects for their clients in the entertainment and technology industries.
Beach brings significant expertise and experience in the field of Internet video, digital asset management and rich media solutions. His expertise in video post-production, compression, and interactive design has attracted clients worldwide, including: Microsoft, Major League Baseball, Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, British Design Council, V2 Records, Universal Music, Paramount Pictures, Showtime Networks, and Samsung.
Andy has spoken at industry conferences including Web Video Summit, NAB, WWDC, QuickTime Live!, and Production East, and has been featured in POST Magazine and TV Technology. He also taught digital film making and editing at the School of Visual Arts.
