Initially silhouette was applied on portraits or pictorial which were be used for thin black card. But nowadays, we can easily find silhouette images in many media forms like artworks, illustration, photography, movies, graphic design or even fashion and fitness.

Modern designers use silhouette to create dramatic effect in many art works because silhouette emphasizes the outline and view of an object. The mystery of silhouette objects create a space for viewers’ imagination. Apple’s iPod advertisement is a successful example of using silhouette.

This week, we’ve managed to compiled 85 free high quality silhouette sets to speed up your designing job.

Adobe Group Section Subscriptions - How to subscribe & unsubscribe 1
Entry posted on May 13 by John J Olson

Title: Adobe Group Section Subscriptions - How to subscribe & unsubscribe
Entry:

Someone at the meeting tonight had asked me if you could subscribe to the discussion area or other sections of the Las Vegas Adobe Groups page.   You definitely can.   Unfortunately, its not very clear how to do it, and there isn't a Help system jumping out at you.

After you've signed in, you can choose to subscribe to any of the sections, but clicking on the 2nd icon (looks like two pages) in the Resource Menu.   Once subscribed, you will be notified via email of any updates to that section.  By default, when you joined the group (or any group), you are automatically subscribed to the Event Calendar and the Blog section of the groups site.

In the image below (taken from my account), I'm subscribed to the Blog, Discussion Area, and Event Calendar.

The first icon (ribbon or badge icon) in the Resource Menu is a Favorites icon.  By enabling that icon, that section will appear in your Favorites (in top right corner of page) and you can use the Favorites section to quickly jump to any of your favorite sections.

---------------------

To Edit your existing subscriptions,  click on "Subscriptions" at the top of the page.   You'll navigate to a page showing every section for every group that you have subscribed to.  You'll have options to edit your subscriptions for that section or unsubscribe completely.
