JQTouch meet ColdFusion
Special ColdFusion Builder Event RSVP I'll moderate the discussion
Mura CMS the Open Source Content Management System RSVP Matt Levine: Matt is also the architect of and lead developer for Blue River’s Mura CMS, which includes content management, e-mail marketing, group collaboration and project management functionality. Pat Santora:
FW/1 - The Invisible Framework Sean Corfield, former BACFUG manager, frequent ColdFusion speaker and occasional curmudgeon. Though he may have given up that title. You can read more about Sean at http://corfield.org/ ColdFusion has always been about simplicity and "getting stuff done". I created Framework One (FW/1) in that same spirit: with just one file and some simple conventions, you won't even notice you're using it! If the learning curve, code bloat and XML have put you off other frameworks, find out why developers are saying "FW/1 is perfect" and how you can use it to just focus on your code, be productive and stop worrying about "the framework".
JQuery and AIR/ColdFusion Apps Andy Matthews (http://www.andymatthews.net/) is presenting on building AJAX/ColdFusion powered AIR applications. He'll spend 45 min covering JQuery basics. The second half of the meeting will cover what you can do with AJAX and ColdFusion in an AIR desktop application. I saw Andy present at cfObjective last year and he did a great job on this topic.
