Can you catch the attention of high school kids for 20 minutes?
Thanks for the encouragement at the Sept meeting.
I am wondering if someone would like to present to the career academy students at our high school in Belle Chasse. The theme is "Careers in Technology" and they asked me but I really don't think the students want to hear from a "teacher". Unless you teach something really "cool". These students could use some inspiration and the stuff we were talking about at the meeting seemed just up their alley.
Please let me know if you are interested. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Thanks to everyone who helped me beta test my megaphone trivia app. I'll be calling the guys at megaphone to ask why callers were getting the 'this game is full' message after only 10 or so callers. If you want to play with the megaphone system just head over to http://www.playmegaphone.com/developers.php and sign up for a free developer license.
Just wondering what folks are using...if anything? Do any of the numerous social networking sites/services do anything for you? Personally? Professionally?
I just started using Twitter...trying to figure out what (if anything) it might be good for (follow me at http://twitter.com/der_no). I'm on the LinkedIn network (boy, I need to update that one). And I'm on Facebook...or is it MySpace...the digital detritous that a life online leaves behind... And of course I'm on Adobe Groups!
What do you use and how do you use it? Leave a comment below...and let us know where you're at online so we can find eachother!
Flash Builder 4 (Flex 4) & Flash Catalyst released as public beta 2
Flash Builder 4 (Flex 4) & Flash Catalyst release to public beta.
Get it from labs.adobe.com.
Hopefully it delivers as hoped for. Will test importing FB3 projects and see how well it does.
Anyone playing with it, share their experiences in this discussion.
I was trained in multimedia, but have been out of it for about 5 years. I am now interested in creating an interactive medical e-book and I have several questions.
1. Should I make it a CD, or a subscription. - Which is better for security and avoiding piracy?
2. Should I make it with Director (CD/web), Flash (CD/web) or Dreamweaver (web)? I will have videos, rollovers and pop-up info screens, text searching, small kid games and 2d animations.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated to get me going.
I just found your group.
What I am trying to find is someone willing to help teach me about using Adobe Primiere for video editing. I do editing for our church and convert them into DVD';s to be mailed to our various groups around the contry. But the ministery wants to add more stuff.
We currently film in front of green screen and use Ultra to our keying.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
Thank you for your time,
