Daniel Freeman:

Daniel is a British software developer currently living in Asia. He started programming computers at the age of 14 with a special interest in graphics and games programming. By the time he was 18, he had published programs and utilities in British computer magazines.  

Daniel's experience of mobile telephony goes back to his early career when he was involved in the creation of the first GSM Mobile standard. He is the inventor of a significant patent for Voice Activity Detection. This algorithm, and its derivatives, have been implemented into billions of devices. Through his cutting-edge work at British Telecom Research Laboratories, Daniel became the youngest ever recipient of BT’s “IPU4+” award for patented inventions.  

A well-regarded Flash Platform expert, Adobe Community Professional, consultant, and trainer. He is the author of numerous technical papers, an avid blogger, and contributor to Flash Platform community discussions and tutorials. Within the Flash Platform community, he is best well known for the development of the popular MadComponents, and MC3D Open Source frameworks.

I'm a senior software developer working for eeGeo. I'm currently working on http://www.recce.at . I'm also working on a personal project, a 3D engine called Zest3D http://www.youtube.com/zest3d . I have been working with flash for about 12 years and specialized in the development of tooling, framework architecture, structure and patterns. Zest3D was a project aimed at me learning 3D math and concepts to industry standards.

Joseph Labrecque is senior interactive software engineer for the University of Denver specializing in the creation of expressive desktop, web, and mobile solutions. His work incorporates a strong focus on the Adobe Flash Platform alongside more general web standards initiatives involving the use of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. He is also the proprietor of Fractured Vision Media, LLC; a digital media production company, technical consultancy, and distribution vehicle for a variety of creative works.
