Date and Time: August 27, 2010 08:00 PM - 09:00 PM (GMT-10 Hawaii, Fakaofo) RSVP Address: University of Hawai`i at Mānoa Human Nutrition, Food & Animal Sciences 1955 East-West Road · Honolulu, HI 96822 Room 219 google map Speakers: Agenda: Robotlegs is a pure AS3 micro-architecture (framework) with a light footprint and limited scope. Simply put, Robotlegs is there to help you wire your objects together. It provides the glue that your application needs to easily function in a decoupled way. Through the use of automated metadata based dependency injection Robotlegs removes boilerplate code in an application. By promoting loose coupling and avoiding the use of Singletons and statics in the framework Robotlegs can help you write code that is highly testable. RobotLegs is a pure AS3 microarchitecture so it can be used in non-Flex projects as well. In this presentation we will learn you how to set up a Pure AS 3 application from the ground up using RobotLegs. This meeting will be a great introduction to using the robotlegs framework, a live step by step for people just starting out. In an hour you will learn how to set up the framework and create a working project. At the end you will be asking yourself how you ever coded with robotlegs! I hope to see you all here at the University of Hawaii or on-line.
