O.C. Flash Interactive Meeting Date Change: NO Meeting Tuesday, March 5th ~ Next Meeting Tuesday April 2nd

Title: O.C. Flash Interactive Meeting Date Change: NO Meeting Tuesday, March 5th ~ Next Meeting Tuesday April 2nd
Date and Time: March 5, 2013 06:30 PM (GMT-8 Pacific Time US & Canada)

Agenda:

O.C. Flash Interactive Meeting Date Change

NO Meeting Tuesday, March 5th

Next Meeting Tuesday April 2nd

Thank you to all that attended our February meeting!

The next O.C. Flash Interactive meeting was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th. We were set to talk more about Object-Oriented Programming (OOP!). We were also going to discuss thoughts on leadership, focusing on how we can be good leaders in our businesses, with our clients, and in our professional networking and other dealings.

Given that March is the month celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day…. the OCFI Managers are off chasing rainbows and pots of gold. In order to honor their inner leprechauns, we will be skipping the meeting in March and re-grouping in April.

For those of you who don’t understand our silliness…Jeff and Caprice are working on projects with tight deadlines. In order to be in integrity with all of our commitments, the next O.C. Flash Interactive meeting will be Tuesday, April 2nd (no fooling…get it?!). We will cover the next installment of OOP, as well as discuss thoughts on leadership.

We will meet at roundpeg starting at 6:30 pm. Please note that we will be targeting our May or June meeting for our first 2013 “Share our Stuff” session, so please come to the April meeting prepared to sign up to share in May or to vote for the sharing at our June meeting.

Until we meet on April 2nd….we wish you a month of four-leafed clovers!

We look forward to seeing YOU on April 2nd!

Event posted on Jul 31 by Jeff Gomes

Title: OC Flash - August 7, 2012: Flash CS6 and Photoshop CS6
Date and Time: August 7, 2012 06:30 PM - 08:30 PM (GMT-8 Pacific Time US & Canada)

Agenda:

Flash CS6 & Photoshop CS6

OC Flash - Tuesday, August 7th

The July 10, 2012 meeting was canceled due to the room inadvertently being double-booked. We are back in full swing in August and will be meeting on August 7th!

Thank you to all that participated in our June OC Flash meeting, and congratulations to all of the raffle prize winners!

With the launch of CS6, the Orange County MulitMedia Association User Groups are reviewing the new features of the different applications. We are also featuring Photoshop CS6 and how it can be integrated with the various other software used by our members.

Our upcoming agenda will feature on how to prepare assets in Photoshop CS6 for use in Flash Professional. We will cover:

  • How to prepare assets in Photoshop CS6
  • Case studies and examples
  • Member sharing of asset preparation strategies, techniques, and tools
  • Future meeting topics and timing
  • Ideas for a new group name, one that reflects the focus of our members (a prize will be given to the selected name!)
  • We will also continue with our tradition of sharing announcements and opening up the meeting to member sharing of tips and tricks, job opportunities, and requests for group feedback and assistance

How can YOU make this meeting a success? Thanks for asking! YOU can:

  • YOU can share your asset preparation strategies with the group and bring some cool new group name ideas to the meeting
  • YOU can come prepared to share any information you have about meeting topic ideas, jobs, tips, resources, and/or need for the group to help you on an effort
  • YOU can reply indicating will be attending the meeting (for food, of course!)

We look forward to seeing YOU on August 7th!

~ Jeff & Caprice, OC Flash Co-Managers
