Entry: We got a good recording of last night's meeting, and it's well worth the 1.5 hours if you want to understand what is going on out there. Go to http://experts.adobeconnect.com/p2h0gmhgtat/. Donald Laird gave a very clear and informative presentation about the range of Social Media, and I think everyone in the audience learned a lot.
Entry: On Thursday (not Monday) February 28, at 7:00pm in the Student Activity Center in Bertolini Hall, we will have an NBAUG meeting in which we discuss social media. Do the terms Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flicker, Tumbler, blog, wiki, RSS feed, MMORPG, Project Noah, and/or crowd sourcing make you want to crawl back into your cave? Or are you an active participant in the scene? SRJC instructor Donald Laird is teaching a brand new 3-unit class on social media this semester, and, in preparing all the materials, he is fully primed and has agreed to lead a discussion on what is going on. Whether you have questions or answers, it should be a very informative evening.
